Message	I have your same year and model.When I had bizarre light problems it came down to one of the brake or tail lights corroded in the socket. I suggest you inspect all your bulb sockets. Since a lot of lights are on same circuit any short can effect others. BTW the little brown box is necessary and tends to fall into the nasty inner fender and corrode. zleeper
